My Weightloss Story
As a young teenager, I was just a normal size, not fat or thin. As I developed into an adult especially when I entered the university, I started to gain weight and then loose it at some point. So I was basically off and on but didn't go past a UK Size 14. Then I went for NYSC Service (a programme established in order to serve my country) and came back as a size 10. Of course, once back home, I gained back the weight to a size 12 and then got married.
And started eating out, especially junk food and got to a size 16.
Then I got pregnant and my eating got worse.
Used my cravings as an excuse to eat anything I wanted. Didn't even exercise at all. After my first kid, I got to a size 18 and then after my second kid, I got to size 20. Then one day I checked my weight and was weighing 90kg.
Then I realised, I needed to do something about it but didn't know to start. This was how I started looking for the solution to loose weight. Will tell you all the methods I tried and how I eventually got the right way to loose weight. Wait a minute, I didn't tell you my husband's opinion about all this.
Well he didn't mind at first and was not really bothered. But when I hit 90 kg, he told to watch it for health reasons and even volunteered to start exercising with me. He was not fat at all just normal and very handsome too. lol
Actually noticed when we got married that he took small meals despite my heaping on his plate and then he was really fit. Always restless and always doing one chore or the other. Just to say he was fit while I wasn't. Not that I was lazy, the weights just didn't move despite all my efforts. Then one day we went out together, I looked at us and I saw that I was beginning to look like his mum. then it hit me that I needed to do something about my weight and then the journey began.......................
